DEAR PFC BERRY,
I HOPE SOMEONE WILL PUT YOUR PHOTO HERE BECAUSE THIS IS A WALL OF FACES AND YOURS IS REQUIRED. THANKS FOR BEING AN AIRBORNE QUALIFIED MEDICAL CORPSMAN. THANKS, ALSO, FOR THE LIVES YOU SAVED. MY SON LIVES NEAR HARTFORD. IT IS A GOOD PLACE. WITH EACH YEAR THAT PASSES, IT MAKES IT FAR TOO LONG FOR YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE.. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear PFC Malcolm C Berry, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

Thank you
Dear Sir,
I attend Gridley High School in Gridley, Illinois and am currently involved in the Gridley High School Posting Project in which the students leave remembrances for our country’s fallen soldiers of the Vietnam War. I feel everyone needs some acknowledgement of their ultimate sacrifice for our country. You died much too young and had a life that deserved many more years. Your courage and efforts in Vietnam will never be forgotten in my heart and in a multitude of other’s who have the utmost respect and honor for the soldiers who lost their lives there.
