Sweet memories

I remember Jimmy from school. I remember going to the same parties. I remember his sweet personality. I remember when he told us he was going to Nam. I remember telling him to be careful and come back safe. I remember when I heard he wasn't coming back safe. I remember crying. Today I saw this picture and remembered him again. I cried again. 50 years now and he is still in our hearts and memories. Such a loss. Rest peacefully sweet Jimmy.

Sweet memories

I remember you so clearly. I remember parties we were both at. I remember our youth. I remember you telling us you were going to Nam. I remember telling you to be careful and come home safe. I remember hearing you weren't coming home safe. I remember crying. 50 years later I still remember it all. Rest peacefully sweet Jimmy.

Thank You

Dear Cpl James Nichols, Thank you for your service as a Huey, UH-1 Helicopter Repairer. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It’s a New Year, but not necessarily better. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering my Brother

Everyday I think of Jimmy and am so proud of him. He choose to serve his country and in the end made the ultimate sacrifice. He was my brother and my friend and I loved him dearly. I miss him and always wander what might have been if he had come home safely. Love you Jimmy and I’m looking forward to seeing you again in Heaven with those who’ve gone before.
