Charles;
Thanks for always being there for others during our training at Boot Camp from December of 1966 to our Graduation on Feb 15, 1967. You gave your life for something that you believed in and we will forever be thankful to you for that. You will always be remembered and your memories live on in the hearts and minds of each of us. We love ya man!

C. W. Neisz Jr. Dies in Vietnam

Marine Pfc. Charles W. Neisz Jr., 18, son of Charles W. Neisz of 21 Stafford Ave., died Saturday from wounds suffered in combat in Vietnam.
He had entered the Marine Corps in December, 1966, after attending Thomas Jefferson High School, and was sent to Vietnam in May.
His father is a truck driver for Thomas Motor Lines.
Besides his father, survivors include his mother, Mrs. Louise Shipwash of Baltimore, Md.; two sisters, Miss Linda Marie Neisz and Miss Loretta Ann Neisz, both of Richmond; and one brother, Ronald George Neisz, also of Richmond.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete Tuesday.

Boot Camp Platoon 325

I was doing a search on the Virtual Wall to see how many of us from Platoon 325, Paris Island, graduating 15 Feb, 1967, made it back. I am sorry to see that Charles was not one of us.

My prayers are with him.
