Always The Big Brother
I just discovered this site or I would have posted ages ago.
My older brother Larry helped my mother raise me and took this role seriously. He had been
in Vietnam 7 months to the day and had written me a letter at 6 months. He wrote that he was liking combat pay and was planning on doing a second tour there so that I would not have to go. He further explained that most guys were killed in the first six months and he now knew how to survive.
This was so typical of him. He helped me out of more than one tight spot. He worked two years as a pool lifeguard prior to USMC, and always had a sincere
drive to help those in need.
My world and others would have been a better place with Larry in it.

Thank You
Dear Lcpl Larry Nehring, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Your 54th anniversary just passed, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It’s a New Year, but not necessarily better. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
