Thank You

Dear PFC Daniel Napoli, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Your 52nd anniversary is soon, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It’s a New Year, but not necessarily better. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Final Mission of PFC Daniel L. Napoli

On January 14, 1969, elements of H Company, 2nd Battalion, 26th Marines, 1st Marine Division, were setting up an ambush site in Quang Nam Province, RVN, when a hostile force tossed three grenades at their position. One Marine, PFC Daniel L. Napoli, suffered fatal shrapnel wounds to the body, and another nine were wounded.
