Thank You

I never had the privilege of meeting you. You are my dad's(Antonio Munoz Bernal) cousin. My dad was drafted into the Vietnam war in 68. I am so very sorry that you didn't have the chance to come back home to your family. Thank you for your sacrifice. Though I never knew you personally, you are still my family and I think of you very often. I'm sure you know that. Once again, thank you for your sacrifice and know that you are loved dearly by family members that came after you and those that will continue to come. I will tell my children about you. God bless your soul. Rest in paradise!

Remembering An American Hero

Dear CPL Enrique Munoz Bernal, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
