I was at Ronald's burial that day in Glendale

I knew Ron and his family very well. My uncle Yul Brynner was great friends with his parents. I still remember his service in Glendale when I drive past the cemetery even today when I drive thru LA from my home in Montecito/Santa Barbara. It stuck with me big time!! because as a 18 yr old teenager you can see what Vietnam did to part of my generation. The Stewarts especially Gloria was never the same. Ron was a just a really nice guy like his brother.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear 1LT Ronald Walsh Mclean, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

Leave A Rememberance

I never knew you but I just recently found that your Father (adopted - not step-father), James Maitland Stewart's mother was my grand uncles half-sister.

God Bless the entire family - your Brother Michael, sisters Kelly and Judy.

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice and the sacrifices of your family.
