last goodbye

I was probably the last guy in the battalion HQ to see you that last evening. You stopped by the S1 section to say you were heading back to the battery. It was already getting late and I was the only one there. I said goodbye, and you headed out. I think of the three of you almost daily, the only men lost from the battalion during my tour.
