Not a day passes that I think about your service and sacrifice. You may be gone from this earth but not forgotten. RIP my brother in arms. PS: how are the saves in heaven?

Dear PFC John P Mcgonigal Jr, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

I can't believe that my uncle died fighting for our country. heartbreaking

I talk to you every day as I pray. I know when we do meet again it will be the best day. I have so many memories. You are a HERO, Johnny, an I love you. God bless us through your prayers. You really have quite a family. Good night for now.

I will never forget that day. Stays in my mind all the time especially when memorial day draws near. You have beautiful nieces and grand nieces and nephews.. watch over all of us!!
