A person you never forget!

Mike was always joking at St. Joseph the Worker School. He had a wonderful family and his sister, Peggy, was somebody that followed in Mike's footsteps when it came to making people laugh. Simply put , he was GOOD people. Can't believe it has been fifty years, since he was taken from us.

Thank You

Dear PFC Michael McGinnis, Thank you for your service as a Combat Engineer. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Time passes quickly, but our world needs help. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Gone too soon....

Michael was my sister's brother-in-law and my friend. He had an easy laugh and was a hard worker. Like his sisters, I received a letter from Michael written before his death but arriving after 9/17/69. Michael was brave and loved his family. he shall never be forgotten by any who knew him. Here it is over 40 years later and it feels like we learned of his combat death 5 minutes ago. Rest well, Michael. You gave it your all.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Michael Brian Mcginnis, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
