3/4 of a Century

Well Jim, I'm about to reach 75 years, unlike you who gave all in Vietnam 22 October 1965. I still dwell on your memory and the chocolate icing we made over a fire baked yellow cake at Camp Anawanna during my Pioneering Merit Badge class. I think it was during the Summer of 1961 I believe. Since my dad was the Camp Director, I spent every summer at Camp Anawanna and we bonded as brothers. For me the Music Died 22 October 1965 when you were hit in your RB66B by a SAM and you became a BNR. You are not forgotten, you were or are if you would permit me, the Older Brother I never had. Your helped me survive the PTSD Homelife. Miss you Jim, Always, one of many Eagle Scouts to whom you gave wings.
