It seems like yesterday when I met you at the University of Minnesota. Although we hardly knew each other it felt like we had been friends for years. I can remember hearing that you would never be coming back home. You were one of the first of my peers to die in war. Sadly, there would be many more. Rest easy, old friend.

Dear Jules: It's been 50 years since you left this earth, but I still think of you often. You will always be missed by those who loved you and remember the kind, gentle, person you were. Rest in peace, old friend.
