To a Great Friend

We went to elementary school together and you tried to get me into boxing. You were a Hellva boxer
You moved to California. Got your pilots license and flew back to Superior to work for the summer. We had some great times then. I'll never forget when you said you joined the Army. When you went to Vietnam you kept in touch. My last postcard from you said "not doing much- just filing sandbags"
I read that card at least 3 or 4 times a year. It's now 7/04/22. Will always be thinking of you

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Hima McDougall, Thank you for your service as a CH-47 Helicopter Repairer. Your 50th anniversary is soon, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Time passes quickly, but our world needs help. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP4 Hima Duncan McDougall Jr, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
