Butchy

I will always remember you and your smile just one of the great kids from south end and second street. I often visit the Graves of family members at Hillcrest.. While there I always stop at Bobby Bittinger grave and your grave. Your youth taken away too soon. I am forever grateful. Your mom and dad suffered so long with your loss. I know you all are united in heaven. I look forward to that day so I can walk up to you, shake your hand and say thank you for your sacrifice . Tim

Remembering An American Hero

Dear 1LT Roy Lawrence McDonald, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
