do not stand at my grave and weep....
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

You are remembered
Roger, I’m honored to read your name on 8 November 2022 at the Vietnam Veterans Wall. I’ve read your remembrances and know were respected by the men who served with you and loved by the parishioners of First Baptist Church in Quinwood, WV, who named a Sunday School class after you. You were a good and faithful servant. Take care, Semper Fidelis, Dan

Thank You
Dear Pvt Roger McDaniel, Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. The 54th anniversary of the start of your tour is soon. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Yesterday was Purple Heart Day. Time passes quickly, but our world needs help. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.
