PFC John T. McDaniel

I have been to the wall in D.C. I took pictures and gave a rubbing of your name on the wall to my brother, Terry Oslund. You enlisted together in September, 1966. When you lost your life for our freedom you took a piece of our heart with you. Now, you and Terry are hanging out together. You are both gone but not forgotten. Semper fi.

I remember John

My husband was in 3/26 Marines, Kilo Company in Viet Nam in 1966-67. He served with John. A good fellow Marine was in the same unit with John. I grew up in St. Louis Park, MN and Don (from Georgia) asked if I knew John or could find any info on his family.
If anyone is still out there, Don would love to talk to you about John and what a great guy he was.
Please contact me.

Peace with Honor

You were one of the brave that answered the call. You honored us by your service and sacrifice. We now honor you each time we stand and sing the words “THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE”. Rest in Peace and Honor John.
