THE WALL OF FACES

I grew up the son of Vietnam Vet who was 101 Airborne, 101 AHB, A Co. “Comanchero”. His name was Ron Azdell and his best friend in flight school was Mr. Berblinger. I have grown up my whole life listening to stories about their experiences and have always and will always remember the sacrifice that Kenny made. My dad was shot down in 1971 in Laos and what these true hero’s did for our country will live on as long as I have the opportunity to share their stories. RIP Dad and Kenny…

Chief Warrant Officer Kenneth Michael Berblinger was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, with Oak Leaf Cluster, for his heroism and extraordinary achievement while engaged in aerial flight. He served as a Helicopter Pilot and was assigned to
H TRP, 16TH CAVALRY, 3RD BDE, 1ST CAV DIV.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
