To my uncle

We never got to meet but your memory lives on through our family I’m honored to carry your name with me (Jeffrey Phillip MacLeod) I can’t thank you enough for your sacrifice… you made a selfless choice and volunteered to sweep a minefield to protect your fellow army men … my one hope in life is to live up to your name and keep your memories alive in my daughters as I pass down our family name and your story…

honoring you....

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your friend Jim Olsen is touching and harkens back to the carefree days of our youth. Sadly, those days ended much too soon for you. As long as you are remembered you will always be with us….

Your Old Friend

Phil,
I remember our time together as kids. Walking to school and talking about everything under the sun. Our time together as Boy Scouts too. Looking at the stars out of our tent... Now you're amoung the stars - travel well my friend!

Thank You

Dear Sp4 Phillip MacLeod, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Your 51st anniversary just passed, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Yesterday was Memorial Day, and it is important to remember you. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP4 Phillip Lesley MacLeod, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
