Visted Parents
I was a forward observer with 2/5 and visted your parents in 1971 and put names with pictures you had sent home. You never asked anyone to do what you wouldn't do. It was a honor to know you.

College Classmate
We went to college together although I did not know you well. My memories of you are seeing you running day after day early in the morning as I sat in the student union. There may have been more talented track runners but none more dedicated. I was in Viet Nam on a fire base when I received word from my wife also a Wayne State grad, that you had been killed in Viet Nam. Heard later that at your funeral they sang the song The Impossible Dream it seemed very fitting.
