Thank You

Dear Lt Dennis Muvich, Thank you for your service as a Basic Infantry Officer. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is the Last Week of Advent, which is love. Christmas is soon, Merry Christmas. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear 2LT Dennis Robert Muvich, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

I Will Never Forget Dennis

Dennis and his family went to the same church in Whiting, Indiana as my family. I remember him standing outside of Sts. Peter & Paul Church the Sunday before he left for Vietnam, and my dad, a former Marine, shaking his hand. I was only 13 years old at the time, but can remember that moment so clearly. Many years later, when the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall came to San Francisco State University, I walked up to the wall and wondered how I could find Dennis' name. I walked up to one of the walls, looked at the names, and miraculously, there it was -- Dennis Muvich. It was both a miraculous and extremely heart-breaking experience. I will never forget Dennis, or his family.
