Thank You

Dear WO Michael Murphy, Thank you for your service as an Utility & Light Cargo Single Rotor Helicopter Pilot. Your 73rd birthday is soon, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is the 7th Day of Christmas and New Year’s Eve, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Paying tribute to my Brother Razorback.

Mike, Oh how I remember the day so clearly. 12/12/68. So many years have passed that the memories and flashbacks persist. At times, it really sucks to be one of the survivors. We fought a valiant fight that day after going down, but I guess it just wasn't to be in the cards for you and Davey Adams to survive. I wish more could have been done to save you both. You and Davey, as well as the results of that day are pondered upon at every Razorback Reunion. I so wish both of you were here to attend. Until we meet again, Rest In Peace, My Brother.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear WO Michael Thomas Murphy, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
