Met in Denton
I met you once in Denton Texas Where I was a college student. We had lunch with your sister Nan. She loved you so much and was very proud of you. I remembered you as being so thoughtful towards your family. Rest in Peace and thank you for your service.

This June 5 will make 50 years since my wonderful friend Steve Mullen gave his life for the defense of our country in Vietnam. I still remember the night he spent with me and my wife Sharon after we were newly married and had moved to New Jersey. He was assigned to Fort Dix, New Jersey on his way to Germany and prior to his deployment to Vietnam. We shared such great memories of high school, college visits and his participation in our wedding. It was the last time I would see Steve. I miss you buddy!

To My Best High School Friend
On this Memorial Day, I again remember the loving sacrifice you made to our country and our freedoms. You were a special friend who I will always miss and wish we could have shared the over 50 extra plus years of life God has already graced me with. Being with Christ, I am confident you are in a much better place than I, but also believe this world would have been richly blessed by enjoying many more years of you being present here. I would love to hear from the daughter you never had the chance to know so I could share with her from my perspective what a special man you are. Know you are performing an important and vital role in God's forever Kingdom. That's just who you were and are. Miss you bro!

Thank you
I am the daughter of your cousin Royce. I have heard of all the stories of the Mullen cousins childhood. I really wish I got to know you but I can’t express how much I appreciate all you did for us. Miss all of you Mullen’s and hope to meet you some day with God.
