You Remain In My Heart

Warren, My Love,

It was 44 years ago today that God took you home and made you one of his special angels. Your mission was accomplished. You are missed terribly by those of us who knew you and are still left behind.

I am honoring you today by playing the music you loved so much (the Righteous Brothers). I have candles lit all around my Family Room in front of your pictures and the commerative angel and 'in memory of' certificate which John at Chapel Hill South Cemetery presented to me last year. I also requested a special candle lighting for you at my church. You are a true hero who protected those in front of you resulting in your life being lost.

You will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day when we can again be together. Until that day, please know that you will always be deep, deep within my heart.

All my love,
Carol

Veterans Day 2010

My Love,

Thinking and remembering you today, Veterans Day 2010. Though I was not in Chicago, I did meditate, honor and prayed for you at the Veterans Memorial at the cemetery near me where my parents are at rest.

Not a day goes by that I do not think of you and the sacrifice you made so many years ago for your country.

Our time together was so short, but very meaningful. Someday, we will meet again. My love, thoughts and prayers are always with you.

Just Because

Warren,

Just to let you know you are always in my prayers and thoughts and, most importantly, always deep within my heart. On this upcoming July 4th, I want to again thank you for the supreme sacrifice you made for your country over 43 years ago that has made it possible for not only me but all Americans to enjoy living in freedom.

My heart is full of love for you. Some day we will be reunited, but until that day may God Bless You and grant you eternal rest and peace.
