John it has been so many years now and I still think of would have been,could have been and should have been. My daughters only know of you as picture in a frame and name mounted on a wall of remembrance here in Dutchess County. I wish they had been given the opportunity to know you. I wish we had been given the opportunity to become brothers again. Love Dave

John was the husband of my cousin Kathy. He extended his tour to secure an early discharge. John was KIA during that extension ... raising the perpetual question of "what if?" I never met him ... but wished I did. Kathy is a special friend ... I'm sure John would have been also. Mike Lapolla
