Thank You

Dear Lcpl Charles Morse, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. I researched you on your 74th birthday, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is 3rd Week of Advent, and this week means joy. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear LCPL Charles Allen Morse, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

To my dear Uncle.

Your brother Howard J Morse, passed away from Agent Orange. Several of the Morse family has served their country proud. I took my father to the Memorial in Colorado Springs Co, several years back. He was upset that the family would not allow you to have our beautiful National Flag flown. Your brother and I placed a flag in the tomb with your name on it. Rest in peace, dear Chucky.

He remembers how cruel it was when they would not allow him to fly back with your body. He was leaving Nam just a few days after your body was flown home. Dad cried at the wall in rememberance of you. God bless you and my father.
