My life forever altered!
Dave - I only met you once. On my first mission in Vietnam. You never spoke to me and I listened as you and the Cobra AC briefed the mission. One week later you were gone. I was pulled from guns and put in Scouts. As a result, several narrow escapes and many lost friends. I have no idea how I survived, but I am sure that you were happy to know that about 25 years later I found myself working with your Sister. It didn't take her long to figure out who I was. Every time I see her, I think of you my brother in arms.

honoring you...
War drew us from our homeland
In the sunlit springtime of our youth.
Those who did not come back alive remain
in perpetual springtime -- forever young --
And a part of them is with us always.

Thank You
Dear WO David Morris, Thank you for your service as an Utility & Light Cargo Single Rotor Helicopter Pilot with the 1st Cavalry. Your 73rd birthday just passed, happy birthday. I researched you on your 52nd anniversary, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is 2nd Week of Advent, and this week means peace. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering
Dave, I remember you Java and Mike and Pete hanging around Joe's store. Then you got your license and I remember you driving your parent's 58 Chevy. Then we all went into the army. I remember my mother sending me a letter telling me about the Helicopter you were piloting was shot down and how Java accompanied your body home. We've all aged and you're 21 forever. My uncle Bruce died over there, he was what 30? I look back and think about what a waste it was, all those people died for what? You My uncle Bruce, Bobby Bigelow, so sad
