honoring you....
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. You died at 18 years of age. I am 74 and have lived a long and fulfilling life. It is tragic you never had that same opportunity. May you rest in eternal peace.

Like it just happened
My relative is in DC, doing a rubbing of your name right now. I had very Unexpected tears remembering how so very young you were when you served and died. You were the first boy to carry my books and walk me home from middle school, and you wrote me a lovely poem. We, your friends, have never forgotten you.

RESPECT, HONOR & LOVE
This Baby Face was my school mate & friend for the 12 years we were in school together in Corpus Christi, TX, & very quickly became a man in the Army.
The last time I saw Bobby, he was handsomely dressed in uniform & was saying his good-byes to us before he left for Vietnam. We had lunch together in the Moody High School cafeteria.
So very sadly, & much too soon after, we waited for the return of his remains at the C.C., TX airport because he had been KIA in Vietnam.
I will forever keep Bobby in my heart as I knew him, a sweet, kind, Baby Face classmate & yet a BRAVE, UNSELFISH MAN, SOLDIER & PATRIOT. I WILL ALWAYS HONOR YOU & NEVER FORGET YOU.
GOD BLESS YOU, BOBBY.

Thank You
Dear CPL Robert Mora, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Advent. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
