Ground Casualty

SP4 Carl E. Adkison was a light-wheel mechanic serving with D Company, 36th Signal Battalion, 2nd Signal Group, 1st Signal Brigade. On August 12, 1969, SP4 Adkison died in Ninh Thuan Province, RVN, from injuries he suffered while a passenger in a military vehicle when the vehicle went out of control and he was thrown from it.
