My great uncle

My name is Kenneth Lane Rutledge, I am the son of Ishmael Duane Rutledge. Kenneth Dee Moore is my great uncle, my dads uncle, and wish I could have had a chance to meet him. I was named after him and have heard stories about my great uncle that made me want to meet him more. I cherish the fact that I share the name of him. Thank you for putting this memorial on this website and letting everyone see and meet him.

Someone in Vidalia thanks you for fighting for our America

Dear Kenneth,
You fought the good fight and the battle we won. One of our greatest losses was you. Rest quietly now for you deserve the honor. God is with you and those who fought along side you.
This poem by Joanna Fuchs is totally befitting. However, I will just give you a verse.

They Did Their Share

On Veterans' Day we honor
Soldiers who protect our nation.
For their service as our warriors,
They deserve our admiration.

God Bless You and thank you.
For Veterans Day 2010
Sincerely,
Brenda Spivey-Jones, Historian

You will always be remembered

Dear Kenneth,
Thank you very much for your service in Vietnam. You gave the ultimate sacrifice for your country. With you giving your life for your country, let the others you put in front of you have a better life. I want to recognize your bravery and undying loyalty. You will never be forgotten. Thank you from all the students at Gridley High School in Gridley, IL for all you have done.
Respectfully,
Ashley
