I've Never Met You But I've Heard Your Name Many Times
Joe, I never knew you but someone very close to me did. He served with you and you were a good friend to him. His name is Clement, my older brother. I was only 11 or 12 when he was in Nam. Clement often speaks of you and what you meant to him in Nam. I am thankful that he did know you and I am glad he has such good friends today as Jack and others. I pray that you are in God's glorious hands. I also pray for all those soldiers of courage and valor whom you left behind. May the peace of Christ be with you and your fellow soldiers, now and forever.

In Remembrance
Joe, I look at a photo I have framed above my desk everyday of you, Doc Braxton and Clement, and am reminded that we really did have some good times too. It also makes me feel honored and proud to have had all you guys for friends. Actually, "friends" would be an understatement for the relationship we all shared with each other. Talked to Clement the other day and was mentioning the fact that even though 33 years have passed,we're still here for each other. The day will come when we'll all be together again. Until then, rest well Brother. Jack
