Never Forgotten

Lt Molley you stepped up to lead Lt Upchurch’ platoon after his death on 25 Mar. My letter to chaplain arrived the day you and many of platoon died in the same area as Mar 25 Dong Ha Mt. Until i met your mom, brother and daughter when I travel to Tenn. to honor you did i know you were the Lt that led Jim’s platoon. That day was the worst day for platoon 2. heavy fire fight. you stepped on a booby trap and so many died and so many injured. You mom i kept in touch with for many years. First thing she said Doc Skip in 2001 was why did it take so long. I was so honored to find these Marines and you and Jim would have been so proud of their accomplishments as Men today. Your daughter is beautiful i never got to meet your wife. I gave your brother pictures of the area you were killed. as jim was killed there also. I think of all Marines Jim served with and never do I forget you. Semper Fi Lt upchurch Wido
