MY YOUNGER BROTHER

I am Mickey's older brother now living in the San Francisco, CA area. Last weekend, I was able to visit the American Veterans Traveling Tribute's Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. It was a site to see. I have visited the Wall in Washington many times but the exhibit being this close to my home I had to go. I'm grateful for the friends who have remembered Mickey. Last month, he would have turned 66 years of age on the 17th.
To correct one of the postings, Mickey was moved from the Miami cemetery on October 20th, 1983 and is now burried in Arlington National Cemetery, located in section 38, grave number 4192. It is a very special place so if anyone has a chance, please stop by and visit Mickey.
Someone inquired about being related...Mickey' s Dad, and my stepdad, was Edward J. Misiuta was was born on October 31st, 1912 at Lynn MA. He was the son of John and Antoinette (nee Adamczak) Misiuta. He passed away on September 9th, 2000. Our Mom, Catherine Misiuta passed away just 9 days later on September 18th, 2000.

What a Ball Player

Some one mentioned Mickey would carry a bat to Babcock Park. The reason he did was because he was a super hitter. I was his catcher and Mickey played 3rd base. With his bat Mickey would 'crush' the ball as it went over everyones heads.
