To a cousin I always miss

Joe, my brother and myself were all about the same age but I was the youngest. We spent many summers together on the beach of Laurence Harbor in our youth. Then at his home in Cranfort. Miss you Joseph even after all these years. God Bless..Mike

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Joseph Patrick Minnock, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

I met Joe one day when he was at football practice. I saw the name 'Minnock' on the back of his gold and blue jersey, and walked over to introduce myself. He was years older than me and looked like an adult next to my friends and I. I mentioned that his name was mentioned in Mr Schmidt's math class, and he laughed. Instead of talking down to us since we were several years younger, he was kind and funny. When I found his name on the wall, I hoped it wasn't the same person I met all those years ago. He remains in my prayers.

Fellow Cranfordite

Joe, we went through school together up through 10th grade. I still think of you, and the sacrifice you made and my heart is filled with sadness for you and your family.

Not forgotten

Joseph, Although we never met,
I just want you to know you are
not forgotten. You gave the ultimate
sacrifice, your life for what you believed
in. Sleep well my friend, and thank you
for protecting the freedoms we enjoy
today.
