I wore your bracelet

Thank you for your service and sacrifice. Welcome Home! My mother Mary Lou Dennison ordered your bracelet for me and my siblings
Because she knew your family and I think she had babysat for you, I still have your bracelet in my cedar chest. Again, thank you!

I wore your bracelet

I have thought about you often as my father was also in Vietnam, but thankfully returned. It is wonderful to know that you have been found and your remains returned. I wish the outcome had been different, but I am glad to have remembered your life, by wearing your MIA bracelet.

LCDR James B. Mills

Since 1981 I have worn the MIA/POW bracelet I was sent after requesting a bracelet. Not only have I worn the bracelet since that time; but, I have worn it everyday. I still wear the bracelet though you can't read the name; however, I love it when young people ask me about it. Which gives me the opportunity to not only tell them about the Vietnam War; but, the great opportunity to tell them about LCDR James B. Mills; but, also the brave MIA's and POW's I include James in my daily prayers. I was a Sailor aboard the USS Laffey DD-724 when LCDR Mills was shot down, which for me, it makes it personal.
