Never Forgotten

I was 10 years old in 1966, the year my cousin Oscar was killed in Vietnam. I have never forgotten him or his sacrifice to his country. Now over 50 years later and the father of a US Marine, the remembrance of Oscar is ever stronger. Rest In Peace Marine

Visit to Tucson

My wife and I were traveling thru Tucson and decided to visit Oscar's grave. I met Oscar in Boot Camp and trained with him at Camp Pendleton. After that we were separated to different schools and later joined Oscar in the newly formed 5th Marines. The first time I met Oscar I new that I met one the nicest guys. I was on Operation Hastings but in a different area, We were all shocked and saddened we found out about losing Oscar. I think about him often and wanted to let you know how much he was loved. My prayers are with you and your family. Sincerely Mike Brown.
