Grade A Number one( We will never forget)

There have been many moons since the dark shadow was cast in the sky, the day vietnam took you away from us.I've often wondered what would of been had the army not been looking for a few good men.TOM you were a courageous soul, nobody told you ,you had to go. I remember yesterday in our youth the dreams we shared of being brave, being strong, being in love.
I will never forget your love for life and never backing down.
I remember some of the letters you wrote when I to was in vietnam,it was hard for both of us, I wish I was there that dreary nite to give you cover and take up the fight.
As I remember, I will never forget. You were the greatest of men
and the best soldier yet. Grade A Number One my friend.
Don Ramsey (A co.2nd bn.4th Infantry Div.)
