North End

Victor, you were a good friend. I remember building bikes in your backyard at Bertha’s Sewing Shop on John Avenue. We built a bike from parts, and you let me keep it. I remember you signing with your dad. You were a big brother to me. The last time I saw you was at Lizzie Smith’s front porch when you enlisted. I saw your sister later at a grocery store, and I traced your name on the Wall. I knew you to be brave and true. Hope to see you again good buddy. Dennis Peterson

looking for photo

To family of Victor Meyers: A Wisconsin project is looking for photos of those who died in Vietnam to post on this Wall. Meyers is one of the few that still is missing a photo. If you can post one and let us know, wonderful. If you wish to send it to me, I will take care of it. Thank you!!!
