Fifty Years Ago Today
Fifty years ago today we lost a wonderful son, brother, classmate and friend. Larry Merschel gave his life for our Country doing what he chose to do. Hardly a day goes by that I don't think of him. His loss has put a hole in the hearts of all of us who loved him. RIP Larry. We miss you.

Somber Anniversary
Forty eight years ago today, May 1, 1968, I lost my dear friend, classmate and teammate. He's probably looking down still gloating over the Villanova's basketball team winning the National Championship.
I think of him often and wish so much that he was here so we could celebrate our 50th Radnor High School class reunion together in October. So many stories to tell over and over.
Mersch, thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice. You are a hero. Radnor will be honoring you, and other RHS students, who gave their lives for our country.
I wish your name was not on the Wall of Honor but I am glad that you and your fellow Veterans are being honored.

Thank You
I go to Radnor High School, where you were from. It is truly an honor to know that people like you walked where I've walked. I thank and respect you for all that you've done for every single American living today. People like you make my life possible every day and have been for a very long time. Thank you.
