POW Bracelet

I still have Jabos' bracelet that I received In 1973. I too was from Jacksonville, Florida. I wore it for many years and I am 73 now. I thank God he was found and his remains are with loved ones. My children know what this bracelet means to me and we continue to honor all our service members to this day. I can put the bracelet in a place of honor now, knowing he is home..

Thank You

Dear SMSgt Jacob Mercer, Thank you for your service with the 16th Special Operations Squadron. I am glad you were identified in 1994, welcome home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is another autumn. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Thank you all for never forgetting as well as the kind words left in remembrance

As the daughter of Jacob Mercer I am encouraged to know that all of our loved ones lost in Vietnam will be remembered due to friendship, the fellowship of supporters and the many of you still in possession or wearing POW/MIA bracelets. I'm sure my dad be proud of his legacy and what his three children have become.
It's been a long 46 years without him. Thank you all.

Remembering Jake

I am 60 years old now and wore Jake’s MIA/POW bracelet all through high school and after. It is still in great shape and has a special place in my jewelry chest. I’m glad his remains were found so that his family could have closure. Thank you for serving our country.
