For a friend who served with you
Hello DUKE
I have often thought of you since that awful day in 1968. We had great times and I will always honor and remember you and William BILL Adams Jr from B-1-12. We served together, became friends and I miss you both.

To the birth father that I never knew...
I never knew you but you gave me life. I feel very close to you and think of you often. I look at my sister and wonder how life would have been different for her if you had come home. I look at Helen and see a woman who will never forget and will look at me to see you. She said that you and I are very much alike. She said that we both have the same easy going smile. Even though I was given up for adoption, I know that you are in my heart. You have always been there. Now I have a face to put with it and a sister to share that with. I love you very much.
