Thank You

Dear PFC Phillip Meador, Thank you for your service as an Armor Reconnaissance Specialist with the 1st Cavalry. I researched you on your 70th birthday, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The anniversary of the terror attacks just passed. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Sonny was my hero

I didnt know your name was Phillip, everyone called you Sonny. You are my cousin. My dad Charles is your moms brother.
I vividly remember you popping the hood on my aunts overheating station wagon, I learned something from you that has saved my skin several times throughout my life. When you release the cap and steam is blowing out, do it from the side and get out of the way quick.
I was 6 years old and you made a difference in my life. I miss you often, thanks for your sacrifice for our country.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear PFC Phillip Wayne Meador, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter
