Richard, I knew you from the block. Your parents owned a dry cleaners I believe. I remember your younger brother Ronnie. You had a 66 GTO. Car was beautiful. I remember also that you hung out with the "older guys", older than the group of friends I hung out with. With that, I really only knew you to say hello. My grandson's school is have in a Veteran's Memorial Remembrance Day. With that we can purchase a flag & dedicate it to one that gave their lives serving our country. I'm purchasing one for you. Rest in peace.

Richard

I remember you from our classes together in New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn NY. You were a great kid back then and after high school many of us were drafted into the army. We lost touch after high school and it wasn't until many years later that I learned you made the ultimate sacrifice in Viet Nam. That was a sad day for me. I think of you from those days from time to time and pray God has rested your soul. Thank you for your service to our country. You are not forgotten.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SP4 Richard Adiutori, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
