POW/MIA Bracelet

I too proudly wore CPT (now Major) Calvin Maxwell's bracelet while in elementary school in the late 1960s. The Vietnam Traveling Wall is currently in my hometown and I was able to pay tribute to this American hero by viewing his name on this Wall of Honor. Thank you Major Maxwell on making the ultimate sacrifice.

Remembering Calvin

We try to imagine, today, what life would have been like if you'd become a veteran, instead of a memory. It's a shame you had to leave us so soon, but we remember the time, and cherish the experience. For those wondering who Calvin really was: https://www.gregorystrachta.com/101.html#Top

Miss you Brother

I remain hopeful to know the final resting place of my oldest brother. Coming from a Military family, he did what he could for our country. He served with honor and will be missed by those who ever knew him.

Thank You

Dear Major Calvin Maxwell, Thank you for your service with the 14th Artillery. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Time passes quickly, but our world needs help. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Be at peace.

I wore his MIA bracelet

I wore his MIA bracelet in High School. I recall the girl who was selling them allowed us to select the name of our choice from a large box. His name spoke to me and wore it for several years, hoping he would come home and I would see him in the groups of POWs they eventually showed on the news. I hope his family knows he was a Hero, no matter what they may have believed about that war.
