I too wore his POW bracelet

I wore Capt Calvin Maxwell's POW bracelet in Junior High and early High School. I remember the day it broke, it was the day my cousin died in a car accident. I ran out the door and it caught on the door jam and broke in two. It then always held double significance for me. I kept it for many years. I don't believe I have it any longer, but I have always remembered his name. Glad to finally think to look him up. Sad to find out he is still missing.

Vietnam Bracelet

I, too, wore a Vietnam bracelet with Capt. Calvin Maxwell's name on it in the late 60's. I always wondered what he looked like, where he came from, etc. I even tried to contact a registry at one time with no positive response. I'm so happy to have found this page and others about Capt. Maxwell through today's technology! RIP my friend.

POW/MIA Bracelet

I too proudly wore CPT (now Major) Calvin Maxwell's bracelet while in elementary school in the late 1960s. The Vietnam Traveling Wall is currently in my hometown and I was able to pay tribute to this American hero by viewing his name on this Wall of Honor. Thank you Major Maxwell on making the ultimate sacrifice.
