Major Glenn Belcher

I also wore Glenn Belcher's MIA bracelet starting in the early 70's. My bracelet also listed him as a captain. I have often wondered what became of him and am sorry to see that he was not returned alive but am glad that at least his family got some closure and were able to give him the burial that he deserved. Thank you Major Belcher for your supreme sacrifice for your country and for all of us.

Wrist Band

I have been wearing a wrist band for many, many years in remembrance of Maj Glenn A. Belcher. I never was able to put a face with the name. I just prayed for his family and hope that they have been able to find closure. Today, through the magic of internet, I googled his name and found a picture of him in uniform. How nice to be able to put a face with the name on the wrist band. I continue to pray for his all his fallen brothers. This will bring closure for his family and peace to his soul. So nice to learn he was brought home for proper burial in Arlington Cemetery. God Bless all.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear Major Glenn Arthur Belcher, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

If I should die...remembrances for MAJ. Glenn Arthur BELCHER, USAF...who made the ultimate sacrifice

If I should die, and leave you here awhile, be not like others, sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust, and weep...for MY sake, turn again to life, and smile...Nerving thy heart, and trembling hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine...Complete these dear, unfinished tasks of mine...and I, perchance, may therein comfort you.
