POW Bracelet
I wore Col. Begley’s POW bracelet everyday in jr high and high school. What an honor! Thank you, sir, for your service and sacrifice! God Bless you! May you RIP!

I wore his POW bracelet
I was a kid...maybe in 5th grade when I bought a POW bracelet. I wore it faithfully for many years. As a college graduate, I got a job in DC and went to the newly installed Vietnam Memorial. I looked for and found Colonel Begley's name. I cried sincere tears for my soldier. Of course, these were in the days before internet, so I had no way to found out what had become of him before I saw his name on the wall. Now I am 62 years old and I still remember my soldier. Was just watching the Trial of the Chicago 7 and thought of him again. I hope his family knows I still remember and honor him.
