On my mind
For 36 years you have been on my mind. I was there the day you died,my heart has cried for thirty six years. I will never forget the wave that you gave me before your death. Take care my friend.

Frank Joseph Marconi
I have never heard your name before but I feel everyone here needs some acknowledgement of their ultimate sacrifice for our country. You died much too young. You most likely were just out of school. You had a life that deserved many more years. You left behind people who loved you and who, I imagine still feel the pain of your loss to this day. I hope they have comfort in knowing you are at rest and that they will someday see you again in a much better place.
Your courage and efforts in Viet Nam will never be forgotten in my heart and in a multitude of others who have the upmost respect and honor for the soldiers who lost their lives there.
In Peace always

Remembering Frank Marconi
I was 10 years old when I knew Frank. He was like a big brother to me in my neighborhood. He was kind and never made me feel like I was too young to hang out with the older kids. I remember him home for a short time and saying that he would be back soon. I will never forget the day our neighborhood received the news of his passing.
To his family, I will always remember Frank's kindness.
