Thank You
Dear Captain Michael Maloney, Thank you for your service as an Operations & Training Staff Officer. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is the 76th anniversary of Operation Overlord. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Huge Influence
Oh boy- I’m so late doing this and where do I begin? My big brother Mike who never called me my real name! I had many nicknames from you! I wanted to go away to college because I remember going to Davenport to visit you- coloring pictures for you, remember I was about 5 when you left for college! I got to “stand up” for you as a junior bridesmaid in your wedding. My class wrote letters to you and brother Steve when you were both in Nam. Sadly I remember overhearing you talking to dad before you left for Nam that you listed your residency as Iowa because LeAnne and David would have better benefits if you should die. Dad was ecstatic that he had a namesake. Ironically my husband is Kevin Michael and my oldest child is Michael Kevin- named after you and Kevin. Think of you often and miss you. Love you! Your “baby “ sister Marti
