A cousin who never met you - But honors your sacrifice

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Wish you had lived to be able to raise your children and know your grandchildren. Many Beckworths have, and continue to have served in the military, including wars back to the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, WWI and WWII. Rest in Peace. An ancestor to both of us, Amos Beckwith, is a DAR patriot.

A grateful friend

You are one of our gallant hero's! Thank you for your unselfish sacrifice!
I knew your son Danny in 2nd or 3rd grade. You helped me get an ice cream out of a deep ice cream box the night before you left for Vietnam! I will always remember your kindness to a little boy.
May God eternally bless you and your family!

Remembered

DEAR STAFF SERGEANT BECKWORTH,
I HOPE SOMEONE WITH YOUR PICTURE WILL POST IT HERE. THIS WALL OF FACES NEEDS YOUR FACE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AS A GRUNT WITH THE 1ST CAVALRY. THIS WAS THE UNIT OF A FRIEND'S BROTHER. SAY HI TO MIKE. THE CHRISTMAS SEASON IS OVER, AND IT IS A NEW YEAR, WHICH MAKES IT FAR TOO LONG FOR YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE.. GOD BLESS YOU. MAY THE SAINTS AND ANGELS BE AT YOUR SIDE. REST IN PEACE.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SSGT Harley Daniel Beckworth, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter

Never missed a person so much

Just a short sentence because these feelings can never be put into words.

THERE IS NOT A SINGLE DAY I DON'T THINK OF YOU AND MISS YOU.

Your son Danny Beckworth
