honoring you.....

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The poem from fellow soldier Pete Heald is moving and reflects his admiration and respect for you. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever….

Memorial Reach Out

My name is Patti and I work in the office of New York State Assemblymember Kevin Cahill. Our office is planning an event to honor those who were killed in Vietnam that were from our district, which encompasses most of Ulster County and Northern Dutchess. As such, we are hoping to get in touch with any of the surviving family members or close friends of this individual. Should anyone that reads this know how to contact them, we would greatly appreciate it if, with the family or friend’s permission, we could be given a means of reaching out to them. Our office can be contacted by phone at 845-338-9610 or email at [email protected]. Thank you.

Thank You

Dear Lt Giuseppe Magri, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Unit Commander. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Yesterday was the original Memorial Day, and it is important to remember you. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage, guidance and faithfulness. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear 1LT Giuseppe Magri, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir

Curt Carter
